Synthesis of HCN from Light Oil Cracking

1.  Reaction Principle of HCN Synthesis  

After vaporization in the vaporizer, liquid ammonia is mixed with gasoline in the venturi, and then heated to 250 ℃ - 280 ℃ through the preheater to enter the bottom of the cracking furnace. The three-phase graphite electrode in the furnace is immersed in the boiling bed of petroleum coke particles. Due to the high current conduction and heating effect, the feed gas undergoes cracking reaction at 1450 ℃ high temperature and slight negative pressure. The main reactions are as follows：

2.  Main Production Process

The main production processes include: liquid ammonia vaporization, preheating and mixing, cracking reaction, dust removal and ammonia removal, tail gas incineration and other operation processes.
