HCN and its Derivatives Product Chain Process Technology

CVL is committed to developing high value-added fine chemical industry featuring HCN and its derivatives, and has the most technologically advanced process design package of HCN and its derivatives. It has developed more than 10 products such as sodium cyanide, glycolonitrile, iminodiacetonitrile, anilinoacetonitrile,  potassium Ferrocyanide / sodium Ferrocyanide , etc. It has built more than 70 sets of industrialization units in China, forming a whole industrial chain of cyanide with leading technology in China and strong comprehensive competitiveness of products, promoting China's cyanide industry to reach the international advanced level and driving the technological progress and rapid development of downstream industries.

A multiphase flow reactor suitable for gas-liquid rapid reaction and capable of inhibiting polymerization of nitrile (cyanide) compounds was developed. A new process was pioneered for the direct preparation of high purity intermediates hydroxyl acetonitrile and sodium cyanide from low concentration hydrocyanic acid, and a technology for controllable synthesis of amino organonitrile compounds from hydroxyl acetonitrile and amine (ammonia) was developed. A clean production process was developed to synthesize downstream derivatives from amino-nitrile compounds and inorganic cyanide, and advanced process separation technology was integrated to achieve green production of nitrile (cyanide) derivatives.

Technical features: HCN synthesis includes the processes of raw natural gas purification, ammonia purification, compressed air purification, HCN synthesis reaction, ammonia removal from synthesis gas, and ammonium sulfide liquid decyanidation and other processes. In the reaction stage of HCN synthesis, we summarize the design experience at home and abroad and the experience of many domestic plants, and adopt optimization means to achieve the best mixing ratio and the best temperature homogeneous control in the reaction system, with high reactor efficiency and long service life; the new absorption reactor is adopted in the deamination section, with high deamination efficiency, good control level of ammonium sulfur extraction and continuous automatic extraction; at the same time, the indicators and process of ammonium sulfate decyanation reached the international advanced level of decyanation process.The production process is clean and the emission index of "three wastes" reaches the international leading level, especially the treatment of cyanide wastewater and exhaust gas adopts safer process measures.
